Our bespoke 1 hour sessions allow us to build a relationship, understand your hair and personality to give you the individuality you deserve.
The Space
We pride ourselves in taking the traditional ‘salon’ aesthetic and tearing up the rulebook by curating a truly unique space that is now a reference point for interior design.
BLACC + BLOND’s Slow Hair Space is inspired by the architecture and interior spaces of places where the design is conceptual, stripped back and neutral.
Based on the edge of the most emerging part of the Jewellery District of Birmingham, we’re bringing a touch of modernity and conscious living to our clientele and the area.

We consciously consider the brands we choose to stock in our salon. Haeckels, Form Nutrition and Attire Care are all companies of the highest ethics that fit into our ethos of living a quality driven, sustainable lifestyle.
All product ranges are personally tested and researched upon selection.
BLACC + BLOND is the only Hair Space in Birmingham to stock these brands.

We’ve hired out our beautiful space to a variety of creatives before. Ranging from photographers to musicians.

OWNER + Mens Hair Architect
Anil has proved himself countless times as one of the most forward thinking and influential creatives in Birmingham.
From winning awards, to setting trends, Anil has genuinely created his own lane with BLACC + BLOND.
To top it off, he is one of the best male hairdressers about, with over 14 years experience in London and Birmingham.
Due to his limited availability, he is currently not accepting any new clients.
QUDSIA BATUL
SENIOR Colourist/Stylist
Qudsia has an amazing 15 year career behind her, having worked her way through the renowned Toni & Guy system.
She has a vast skillset in colour and is accomplished at all hair types + textures.

Senior Cutter
Alex is one of one of the most talented and experienced stylists in Birmingham over the last 20+ years.
Having owned his own salon for 10 years, working on events like London Fashion Week, his skillset and experience is unrivalled.
He prides himself on his creative cutting ability just as much as his classical work.
Rest assured, you are in very good hands when in Alex’s chair.
We are extremely proud to announce that we are now a Climate Positive Workforce.
This is achieved through generous monthly donations by Anil, whereby all of his staff members carbon emissions are off-set.
CUT + COLOUR PRICELIST
At BLACC + BLOND, we have a pricing structure based on each individual stylist.
We offer a wide variety of services, from hair cuts, hair colours, beard trims and hair treatments.
Whilst each stylist has their own pricing, we have worked hard to ensure that they are as cohesive and competitive as possible for a premium city centre hair salon.
All of our cut + colour prices are available to view through our designated booking system, Fresha. We have posted the link button below for you to book in whenever you are ready to visit us.
In case this applies to you, we do offer all services for non binary clients too. Of which you can similarly find through the booking system.
Please note, for colour services you must book in a FREE Colour Consultation/Skin Test at least 48 Hours before your colour appointment.
This is mandatory, so if you have not had your skin test, we have the right to cancel/reschedule your appointment.
